Executive Producer Changing Local Television

The face of local television is changing! Executive Producer Ryan Prucker is making things happen his way by producing national quality television programs and airing them locally. With local television airtime all but buttoned up with national programs and syndication, Prucker finds his own nitch on the weekends to showcase his work. “You have to create your own success and opportunity in life,” Prucker says. And that’s just what he’s doing, by purchasing airtime typically used for infomercials and creating his own “mini-network” of television series. But, you won’t see any juicers or fancy cutlery sold during his shows, but you may see several talented chefs dicing things up on “Three Course Delight” a local cooking show spicing up Saturday mornings. But, don’t expect this ambitious producer to say cooped up in the kitchen for long. Prucker jumps from the themed cooking/decorating show right into rugged terrain as he follows 2 adventure hunters as they locate lost ghost town settlements of the 1800’s on “Exploring History’s Treasures.” Prucker says “There is certainly a lot of diversity in my work, I like to keep things interesting both for myself and a wide variety of viewers.” Prucker says these two series are just the beginning of where he envisions taking his company.

In 2003 Prucker chanced it all by leaving his Senior Producer position at the Fox/WB affiliate in Syracuse, NY to start his own company Imagelight Advertising and Production, LLC. Prucker says, “You have to believe in yourself and take large calculated risks to gain large rewards.” And for Prucker, it appears so far, the risk has paid off. Prucker has become a very sought after talent, writing and producing commercials for companies across the country. Prucker is also a strong media buyer and graphics and web designer. Some of Imagelight’s clients include Carrier Northeast, WFBL and WSEN Radio Station and The Make-A-Wish Foundation. As far as the future of his business Prucker says, “I see unlimited potential in every aspect of my business and I will continue to measure success through my client’s eyes.” This self-motivated business owner has his sights set high and says he won’t let anything stand in his way. He also says he is proud to be based in Central New York.

Prucker has created a company dedicated to creating his client’s image and identity. In the process he has developed his own by tackling extensive projects in multi-media and television series.
