stage. Mondo’s expertise in transportation, logistics, IT
and distribution across the globe, specifically in war zones
needed to be showcased. With field offices and facilities
throughout Uzbekistan, China, Pakistan, Dubai and the UK,
it is the efforts and presence in Afghanistan that is truly

Greater D.C. Cares promotion
of their annual Servathon 2009 event. The event brings together
thousands of individuals for two days of marathon-style
volunteer service.
Challenge
Greater D.C. Cares is a nonprofit organization with a twenty-year
history of coordinating volunteerism in the Washington,
D.C. region. Greater DC Cares mobilizes more than 12,000
volunteers to serve more than 500 nonprofits and schools
each year. Greater D.C. Cares needed to promote their Servathon
2009 two-day service event. The goal was to bring awareness
and visibility to the efforts of the thousands of volunteers,
increase recruitment and understanding of the organization.
